About Us

We are 3D-FREE, an organization created by kids for kids, to support the emancipation of children trapped in slavery on Lake Volta. We have a heart for the kids there and want them to experience freedom in three ways: physically, mentally, and spiritually, which is how we got our name. You may question why a group of kids living in China cares about this issue.

 

First, we attend an international church with many Ghanaian brothers and sisters who have become good friends over the years. Once this problem of slavery came to our attention, our hearts began to hurt because of the conditions that the children are enduring.

Second, we have been given the gift of a safe and stable childhood and we want other kids to experience freedom and care.

Third, we believe in a God of love and want to stand for justice. Our adult relatives are involved in fighting trafficking in other parts of the world, and we are convinced that kids can also make a difference and bring about positive change. So basically, we’re ordinary kids, but we believe that with God, we can do our part in changing the world.
